Waiting List Reduction

I was recently interviewed for UTV news in relation to work which has had a real impact in reducing the waiting times for common Childrens ENT procedures in the NHS.

We recognised the importance of safe, effective care, but without years of waiting. Maximising throughput, utilising every opportunity and innovative new methods reduced average waits from 5 years to 8 months for Tonsillectomy. UTV News June 26

The whole team in the paediatric ENT unit in Belfast deserves immense credit for their hard work and innovation.

Work continues to improve services for all.
